Hey Everyone! How are you this week? It seems like this is the time of year where everything seems to pile up and there is so much to do! Do you feel that way as well?
I apologize for being a little MIA on the blog this week. Daniel and I are getting ready to move to England! If you aren’t aware, Daniel and I currently live in the Netherlands. Daniel has just finished his Masters Degree and we have applied for his US Visa. We have decided to move to England temporarily to be closer to Daniel’s mom while we wait for his Visa to get approved.
We have been so busy this week getting everything ready to move and getting all of little Fé’s paperwork done while we are still here in Holland.
I didn’t want to neglect my Friday Favorites post so without further adieu, here are my favorite things from this week!
1. Fé’s Passport Photo Take #2
So if you read my Friday Favorites from last week you may have seen Fe’s HILARIOUS passport photo! This week we had to go to the US Consulate in Amsterdam (Fé’s first time in Amsterdam yayy!) to Report a Birth Abroad and apply for her US passport. We were worried that the US wouldn’t accept her passport photo because you cant see her chin (which is one of the rules) so we decided to get another photo taken just in case. This one turned out to be even more hilarious than the first one! You still cant see her chin but we decided to risk it anyway, and the US consulate accepted it!
This means that Fé is a US Citizen yayy!!!
If you haven’t heard of Pentaonix before they are AMAZING! They are an a cappella group and I am so in love with them. Their Christmas album is so great and I have been listening to it all week. What I love most is that they sing more traditional Christmas songs which I am all about. Although I do love me some Mariah Carey every now and then 😉
3. New sneakers and my new baby bag!!
In my Gift Guide for Moms I mentioned that I had my eye on this baby bag from Kate Spade. I did a TON of research (because I am the most indecisive person in the entire world) and I decided to order this baby bag from Petunia Pickle Bottom! I am so excited for it to come! Not only is it super stylish it also has a ton of inside pockets for all of Fé’s necessities. I’m not really a huge fan of the diaper bags that look like giant duffel bags and I wanted something that looked more like an actual bag. I think this is perfect and I cant wait for it to arrive in the mail!
I also ordered these slip on Converse Sneakers because I am in need of some new cute sneakers. I’ve always loved the classic look of converse, but I have been cursed with unusually large feet and the classic chucks seem to accentuate my long foot size. I have read that the slip on Converse don’t accentuate your foot length as much so I am going to try them out =)

5. Squat Challenge!
This week I have officially started my quest to get back to my pre-baby body! I didn’t realize how out-of-shape I have become. Its incredible! And also pretty discouraging and daunting to think of how far I have to go to get back into the same shape I was before I had Fé. I am going to write more about this on the blog later! In order to kick start my fitness regime I have decided to do a little squat challenge =) Feel free to join me if you want to and let me know how it goes!
